Bubba Gump Shrimp Company Shrimp Scampi Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 box dried or fresh Fettuccine or Linguine Pasta (enough for about 4 servings), to serve
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1 medium Onion finely chopped
- 4 cloves Garlic peeled and minced fine
- 2 tablespoon freshly squeezed Lemon Juice
- 1/2 teaspoon Steak Sauce store bought or homemade, of choice
- 1/4 teaspoon Hot Sauce of choice
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon dried Tarragon
- 2 pounds fresh Jumbo Shrimp, peeled and deveined, or 2 pounds frozen raw Jumbo Shrimp, thawed, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh Parsley to garnish
Instructions
- Prepare pasta according to package directions. Drain. Set aside.
- Place butter in a large skillet.
- Place skillet over medium heat.
- When butter has melted and is hot (do not burn), add onion and garlic. Sauté until onions are translucent and fragrant.
- Add lemon juice, steak sauce, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce and tarragon. Bring to a boil.
- Add prepared shrimp. Cook, stirring constantly, for 3 - 5 minutes, or until shrimp turn pink.
- Serve immediately, hot, over prepared pasta, sprinkled with parsley.
