Ruth's Chris Steak House Garlic Mashed Potatoes Recipe
Make our Ruth's Chris Steak House Garlic Mashed Potatoes Recipe at home. With our Secret Restaurant Recipe your Garlic Mashed Potatoes will taste just like Ruth's Chris Steak House.
Yield: 8 Servings
Ingredients
- 7 cups peeled and cubed baking Potatoes
- 6 cloves Garlic peeled
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan Cheese
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place potatoes and garlic in a saucepan.
- Cover with water.
- Place pan over medium high heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer 20 minutes. Drain.
- Place drained potatoes and garlic in a mixing bowl.
- Add milk, Parmesan cheese, butter, salt and pepper. Beat with mixer until smooth.
- Taste. Add more salt and pepper, to taste, if needed.

How many potatoes of average size is 7 cups when cubed?

One average-sized potato equals about 1/2 cup when diced or cubed. So about 14.
