McCormick & Schmick's Lemon Tabasco Aioli Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- Zest of 2 Lemons
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed Lemon Juice
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1/4 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground White Pepper
- 1/4 tablespoon Tabasco Sauce
Instructions
- Place mayonnaise, lemon zest and the lemon juice into a small stainless-steel bowl.
- Place minced garlic onto a cutting board. Sprinkle salt over garlic. With the side of a wide knife blade, mash the garlic and salt into a paste. Add the paste to the citrus mayonnaise. Mix well.
- Season with white pepper and Tabasco sauce, to taste. Mix well until smooth and consistent.
- Store in a tightly covered container, in the refrigerator, for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to blend, or until ready to serve. Keep, covered, in the refrigerator, up to 2 weeks.
