Carrabba's Italian Grill Pasta Weesie Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 box Fettuccine
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 8 Jumbo Shrimp peeled, deveined and tails removed
- 1/4 teaspoon minced Garlic
- 1 tablespoon sliced Green Onions
- 1/4 cup sautéed Mushrooms
- 1/4 cup Carrabba's Italian Grill Lemon Butter (See Box Below for this Recipe)
- 1/2 cup Alfredo Sauce store bought or homemade, of choice
- 1/2 cup grated Romano Cheese
Instructions
- Carrabba's Italian Grill Lemon Butter Sauce according to the recipe in the Box below. Set aside.
- Prepare pasta according to package directions. Drain. Set aside.
- In a large skillet, sauté shrimp until nearly done.
- Add garlic, green onions and mushrooms. Stir and cook until warmed.
- Add lemon butter. Stir and cook until warmed.
- In a separate pan, add Alfredo. Warm to simmer.
- Add as much prepared fettuccine as you like based on servings and all Romano cheese. Cook until cheese has melted and sauce is smooth.
- Plate pasta.
- Top with shrimp mixture.
- Serve hot.

Carrabba's Italian Grill Lemon Butter Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 stick Butter
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped Yellow Onions
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped Garlic
- 4 tablespoons freshly squeezed Lemon Juice
- 2 tablespoons Dry White Wine
- Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons cold Butter
Instructions
- Place butter in a small skillet. Place over low heat and melt.
- When melted, remove from heat and set aside for several minutes to allow the milk solids to settle to the bottom.
- Skim the clear (clarified) butter from the top. Discard sediment.
- Place 2 tablespoons prepared clarified butter in a medium skillet. Heat until hot and shimmering.
- Add onion and garlic. Sauté until transparent and tender.
- Add lemon juice and white wine.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Simmer, stirring, for 2 - 3 minutes to reduce liquid.
- Remove from heat and swirl in cold butter until sauce is smooth and emulsified.
