A&W Spicy Chipotle Dipping Sauce Recipe
Make our A&W Spicy Chipotle Dipping Sauce Recipe at home. With our Secret Restaurant Recipe your Spicy Chipotle Dipping Sauce will taste just like A&W.
Yield: 1 Jar
Ingredients
- 1 Chipotle Pepper mashed or finely minced
- 1 teaspoon Adobo Sauce (Buy a jar of Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce to get both of these ingredients.)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Dijon Mustard
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed Lemon Juice
- 1/2 Mayonnaise
- 1/4 teaspoon Kosher Salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place chipotle, adobo sauce, Old Bay, mustard, lemon juice and mayonnaise in a mixing bowl. Whisk to mix well.
- Stir in the salt and pepper. Taste. Add salt and pepper, if needed, to taste.
- Store in a tightly sealed container, in the refrigerator, until ready to serve, up to 3 weeks.

The old bay seasoning gives this a gritty taste that doesn’t exist in the original, reducing the amount may help since the celery salt in it really sticks out. Also the recipe calls for 1/2 mayonnaise so I used 1/2 cup but I don’t know if that was correct
