Make our Luby’s Cafeteria Pumpkin Pie Recipe at home. With our Secret Restaurant Recipe your Pumpkin Pie will taste just like Luby’s Cafeteria.
Yield: 8 Servings
Ingredients
- 4 extra large Eggs
- 29 ounces canned Pumpkin
- 3 cups Evaporated Milk
- 1 1/2 cups granulated Sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground Nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground Cloves
- Two 9-inch Pie Crusts unbaked
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Place eggs in a mixing bowl. Lightly beat eggs until well-blended.
- Add pumpkin, milk, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and cloves. Mix until well-blended. Pour evenly into pie shells.
- Place pies in preheated oven. Bake 1 hour or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
- Remove from oven.
- Serve warm or cold.
