Genghis Grill Honey Soy Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Honey
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Pineapple Juice Concentrate
- 1 cup Corn Syrup
- 2 tablespoons Corn Starch
- 2 tablespoons Sesame Seed Oil
- 1/4 cup Mirin Wine
- 1/4 teaspoon minced Garlic
- 1/8 teaspoon minced Chili Pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon minced Ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon chopped Cilantro
- 1/8 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper
Instructions
- Combine soy sauce, honey, sugar, rice vinegar and pineapple juice concentrate in a medium sized mixing bowl. Stir to mix.
- While stirring, slowly add in corn syrup, corn starch, sesame seed oil and Mirin wine.
- Add garlic, chili pepper, black pepper, ginger, cilantro and crushed red pepper. Blend the mixture with a whisk or electric mixer for several minutes, or until the cornstarch is incorporated completely into the mixture.
- Store in a tightly covered container, in the refrigerator, for at least 1 hour or until ready to serve to allow the flavors to develop.
