Benihana Colossal Shrimp Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon Butter
- 1 clove finely minced Garlic
- 2 tablespoons Soybean Oil
- 6 large Shrimp peeled, deveined and tails removed
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons Tamari Sauce
- 1/2 large Lemon
Instructions
- To a small frying pan add butter and garlic. Place over low heat and cook until butter is bubbly and hot, but not browned. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Add the soybean oil to a large frying pan. Place pan over medium high heat.
- Place shrimp on a plate. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Add seasoned shrimp to the pan in a single layer.
- Cook the shrimp for about 3 minutes on each side, or until pink. Do not over cook.
- Add prepared garlic butter and Tamari sauce to the shrimp. Continue to sauté for 2 more minutes.
- Squeeze the juice of the lemon over the shrimp and Remove from the heat.
- Serve hot with various dipping sauces (See box above for some good recipes).
