Make this Straight-From-the-Restaurant Maggiano's Little Italy 'W' Sour Cocktail Recipe at home and your 'W' Sour Cocktail will taste just like Maggiano's Little Italy.
Yield: 1 Cocktail
Ingredients
- 2 ounces Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon or other Bourbon of choice
- 3/4 ounce freshly squeezed Lemon Juice
- 1 ounce Simple Syrup
- 1 ounce Red Wine
Instructions
- To an ice-filled shaker, add all the ingredients, except red wine. Shake until well-chilled.
- Strain into an ice-filled Rocks, Old Fashioned or other glass.
- Very slowly pour red wine into glass to float on top. Do no stir. Add a stirrer, if you like for you guest to stir their own cocktail.
- Serve.
