Rudy’s Country Store & Bar-B-Q Cole Slaw Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 medium head of Green Cabbage
- 1/4 small head of Red Cabbage
- 3 Carrots peeled
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Using a shredding blade on a food processor and/or a knife, shred and chop cabbages into small pieces. (Alternatively, buy cole slaw or slaw mix in the produce section of your supermarket).
- Using box grater or grating blade in a food processor, grate carrots (Alternatively, buy grated carrots in the produce section of your supermarket).
- In a large bowl, add mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper. Mix with a whisk to combine.
- Add cabbage and carrots. Mix to combine.
- Can be serve immediately. But for best taste, place, covered, in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to chill and allow the flavors to develop.
