Z'Tejas Peach and Berries Cobbler Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 pounds mix of frozen Peaches and frozen Berries (Blueberries, Raspberries, Blackberries and/or Strawberries)
- 1 cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 1 Egg lightly beaten
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Grease a 9-inch round baking dish.
- In a large bowl, add peaches and berries. Toss gently to combine.
- Pour mixture into the bottom of the prepared dish. Spread to cover evenly.
- In another bowl, sift the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt together.
- Cut in butter with two knives or a pastry cutter.
- Add egg and stir until entire mixture is crumbly.
- Crumble dough mixture over top of the blackberries.
- Place in preheated oven and bake for 25 - 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Spoon into bowls. Top with Ice Cream, if desired.
- Serve warm.
