Dreamland Bar-B-Que BBQ Hot Wings Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 pounds Chicken Wings left whole or divided into Peglegs and Planks
- 1 1/2 cups Hot Sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- Oil enough for frying
- 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 1/2 cups Dreamland Bar-B-Que House Dressing or other Vinaigrette-Style Salad Dressing of choice, for dipping
- 1 1/2 cups Dreamland Bar-B-Que BBQ Sauce or other BBQ Sauce of choice, for dipping
Instructions
- Place the wings in a large bowl.
- Add hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Toss to coat.
- Cover and place in refrigerator to chill for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
- Pour oil for frying in a large pot to a depth of about 2 inches.
- Place over medium heat and heat to 375°F.
- In a zip-top plastic bag, add flour, garlic powder, cayenne and salt. Shake to mix well.
- Place wings into bag with flour mixture. Toss and shake to coat (Do in batches if they all will not fit at one time.)
- Carefully place wings, a few at a time, do not crowd, into hot oil and fry 12 to 15 minutes, or until crisp.
- Remove to a paper towel-covered plate to drain.
- Serve with Dreamland Salad Dressing and Dreamland Bar-B-Que BBQ Sauce for dipping.
