Ruth's Chris Steak House Broiled Tomatoes Recipe
Make our Ruth's Chris Steak House Broiled Tomatoes Recipe at home. With our Secret Restaurant Recipe your Broiled Tomatoes will taste just like Ruth's Chris Steak House.
Ingredients
- 4 large Tomatoes
- 1 cup fresh Bread Crumbs
- 1/4 cup melted Butter
- 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat oven on broil.
- Wash tomatoes. Remove stems.
- Slice tomatoes in 1/2 crosswise.
- Place tomato halves in a large broiler pan.
- In a medium bowl, add bread crumbs, butter, cheese and seasoning. Mix well to fully combine.
- Spoon bread crumb mixture evenly over tomatoes.
- Place broiler pan in preheated oven, about 10 inches from heat.
- Broil for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Remove tomatoes from oven.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top of tomatoes.
- Place back in oven in same place. Continue to broil for an additional 2 to 3 minutes or until tomatoes are hot and topping is browned.
- Serve immediately.
