P.F. Chang's Apple Chai Cobbler Recipe
Ingredients
Filling
- 5 cups diced McIntosh Apples peeled, cored (about 4 medium apples)
- 2 tablespoons Granulated Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoons ground Cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon ground Allspice
- 1 teaspoon ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground Cloves
- 1 teaspoons ground Ginger
- 1 tablespoon Butter cut into small pieces
Topping
- 1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Oats
- 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup shredded Coconut
- 3 tablespoons melted Butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all of the filing ingredients. Mix well.
- Place the mixture in an oven safe casserole dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine all of the topping ingredients. Mix well to a crumbly consistency.
- Place the topping crumbs on top of the apple mixture.
- Place in preheated oven and bake for 35 - 40 minutes, or until the apples have softened. (Use the tip of a sharp knife to pierce the apples and if it comes out smoothly with no resistance, the apples are done.).
- Remove from oven.
- Serve alone or with ice cream.
