IHOP Banana Syrup Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 very ripe Banana peeled (of course)
- 1/4 cup granulated Sugar
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1 tablespoon Dark Molasses
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Light Corn Syrup
Instructions
- Place banana on a plate. Mash well with a fork.
- Place in a small sauce pan.
- Add sugar, water, molasses and corn syrup.
- Place over medium heat and bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Reduce to a simmer and continue heating and stirring until you reach desired thickness.
- Serve warm or cool.
- Store in a tightly sealed container, in the refrigerator, until ready to serve.
