Make our Disney’s Boma Restaurant at the Animal Kingdom Lodge African Fruit Fool Recipe at home. With our Secret Restaurant Recipe your African Fruit Fool will taste just like Disney’s Boma Restaurant at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Yield: 12 Servings
Ingredients
- 1 Pineapple, peeled, cored and diced into bite-sized pieces or 2 cups canned Pineapple Chunks, drained
- 2 Green Apples peeled, cored and diced into small pieces
- 1 Mango peeled and diced into small pieces
- 1 small Papaya peeled and diced into small pieces
- 1 pound Red Seedless Grapes cut in half
- 5 Bananas peeled and sliced
- 1 bag sweetened shredded Coconut
- 1 1/4 ounces Vanilla Extract
- One 14-ounce can Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
Instructions
- To a large bowl add prepared pineapples, apples, mangoes, papayas, grapes and bananas. Gently toss to mix.
- Sprinkle in coconut. Gently toss to mix.
- In a small bowl add vanilla and sweetened condensed milk. Mix well.
- In another bowl add heavy cream. Whip with a whisk or electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
- Add whipped cream to condensed milk mixture. Mix well with a spoon or scraper.
- Add cream mixture to fruit bowl. Gently toss to mix completely.
- Store in a tightly covered container, in the refrigerator, until chilled or ready to serve, up to 1 day.
