Cracker Barrel Blackberry Cobbler Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups fresh Blackberries
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Flour
- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1 cup Milk
- 8 tablespoons Butter melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In medium bowl combine blackberries and sugar. Mix gently but well. Set aside for 15 until fruit syrup forms.
- In a separate medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder and milk. Blend.
- Slowly add melted butter while blending.
- When a dough forms, spread into an ungreased 8 inch square pan.
- Spread the blackberry mixture over batter.
- Place in preheated oven. Bake 45 to 50 minutes, or until dough rises and is golden. Serve while warm with Vanilla Ice Cream.
