Red Robin Beer Mustard Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Yellow Mustard Seeds
- 1/4 cup Brown Mustard Seeds
- One 12-ounce bottle good Beer
- 1/4 cup Sherry Vinegar
- 2 teaspoon Sugar
- 2 teaspoon Honey
- Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, add yellow mustard seeds, black mustard seeds and beer.
- Cover bowl with cheesecloth. Let soak in refrigerator overnight.
- Pour soaked seeds and beer into a blender.
- Add all ingredients, except salt and pepper, to blender.
- Blend until the seeds are mostly broken up, but not pureed. The longer you blend it, the spicier the mustard will be.
- Pour mustard into a bowl. Let it set out for anywhere between 30 and 60 minutes to release the gas.
- Taste. Add salt and pepper, to taste.
- Store in a tightly sealed container, in the refrigerator, until ready to serve.
