Chick-fil-A Sweet Tea Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 cups Water
- 1 1/2 cup Sugar
- 3 large Lipton Brand Tea Bags
Instructions
- Pour water into a large pot.
- Place over high heat and bring to a boil.
- Pour into 1 gallon glass or ceramic tea pitcher (Do not use plastic - it will melt, of course).
- Add sugar. Stir to dissolve.
- Add all 3 tea bags to the pitcher. Let them infuse the water for at least 15 minutes. The longer they stay, the stronger the tea will be. Note - Do not leave them in long enough for the water to completely cool. This will make bitter, oily tea.
- Gently squeeze excess water from the tea bags and remove.
- Add cool water to make 1 gallon. Stir well.
- Refrigerate to chill.
- You can pour it in your Chick-fil-A plastic jug now, if you like.
