Fazoli's Grilled Chicken Panini Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 grill-toasted Focaccia Bread or Italian Bread
- 2 - 4 ounces Italian Dressing store bought or homemade, of choice
- 2 whole Grilled Chicken Breasts hot and sliced thin
- 4 teaspoons dried Oregano
- 4 slices Provolone Cheese
- Romaine Lettuce Leaves
- 4 slices Tomato
Instructions
- Cut focaccia or Italian bread lengthwise. Separate and place crust down on workspace.
- Spread each side with Italian dressing.
- Place chicken slices on bread bottoms. (Warm chicken in microwave or oven, if chilled.) Shake oregano over chicken.
- Cover with 2 slices provolone on each.
- Top with several lettuce leaves and tomato slices.
- Place bread tops over all.
- The paninis are ready to eat and wonderful as is. But, if you are fortunate enough to have a panini press, use it to grill the sandwiches now to melt the cheese and get the grill marks identified with paninis. Or grill them briefly on your grill.
