Ingredients

  • 2 grill-toasted Focaccia Bread or Italian Bread
  • 2 - 4 ounces Italian Dressing store bought or homemade, of choice
  • 2 whole Grilled Chicken Breasts hot and sliced thin
  • 4 teaspoons dried Oregano
  • 4 slices Provolone Cheese
  • Romaine Lettuce Leaves
  • 4 slices Tomato

Instructions

  • Cut focaccia or Italian bread lengthwise. Separate and place crust down on workspace.
  • Spread each side with Italian dressing.
  • Place chicken slices on bread bottoms. (Warm chicken in microwave or oven, if chilled.) Shake oregano over chicken.
  • Cover with 2 slices provolone on each.
  • Top with several lettuce leaves and tomato slices.
  • Place bread tops over all.
  • The paninis are ready to eat and wonderful as is. But, if you are fortunate enough to have a panini press, use it to grill the sandwiches now to melt the cheese and get the grill marks identified with paninis. Or grill them briefly on your grill.
