Texas Roadhouse Loaded Sweet Potato Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 Sweet Potatoes cleaned
- 6 large Marshmallows, cut into pieces, or 30 - 40 small Marshmallows, divided
- Texas Roadhouse Honey Caramel Sauce (See Box Below for this Recipe) or your favorite store-bought Caramel Sauce, of choice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F.
- Place potatoes in a cooking dish. Place in preheated oven and bake for 35 to 45 minutes, until potatoes are tender.
- Remove from oven and prick with a fork to let steam out. Be very careful, steam will be very hot.
- Turn oven to Broil.
- Cut a 1 1/2-inch cross in the center of each potato.
- Using oven mitts open the potato by pushing the ends toward the center until filling starts to push through the cut.
- Separate your marshmallows in 2 equal groups.
- Place 1/2 of each group of marshmallows (in other words, 1/4 of the whole) into the sweet potatoes.
- Pour about 2 ounces Texas Roadhouse Honey Caramel Sauce over the marshmallows.
- Place remaining marshmallows over the caramel sauce.
- Place potatoes back in oven set on Broil.
- Let cook for just a minute or two, keeping careful watch so as not to burn. Immediately remove from oven when marshmallows start to brown.
- Serve hot

Texas Roadhouse Honey Caramel Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons Butter
- 1/4 cup Light Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Honey
Instructions
- Place butter into a medium saucepan.
- Place over medium low heat.
- As butter melts, whisk in brown sugar. Do not allow to boil.
- Add honey. Continue stirring for approximately 4 to 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and use immediately.
- Or allow to cool completely. Store in a tightly sealed container, in the refrigerator, until ready to use. Reheat to warm and stir before using.
