The Melting Pot Swiss Cheese Fondue Recipe
Ingredients
- 8 ounces Swiss Cheese shredded (Mild Irish Swiss or Emmentaler Swiss work well)
- 4 ounces Sharp Cheddar Cheese shredded
- 1 ⁄4 cup Flour
- 12 ounces Good Beer
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 ⁄4 teaspoon Mustard Powder
- 1 ⁄4 teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, add Swiss and Cheddar cheeses and flour. Mix well.
- Add beer to hot fondue pot. Heat until steaming.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, garlic, mustard and pepper. Mix well.
- Add cheese. Stir until melted and mixed smooth.
- Serve immediately, with chunks of bread, veggies and apples for dipping in cheese mixture.
