Romano's Macaroni Grill Pasta di Mare Recipe
Ingredients
- 10 ounces Linguine
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 2 cloves Garlic peeled and chopped
- Red Pepper Powder to taste
- 1/2 cup Dry White Wine
- 1/3 cup homemade Tomato Sauce or 1 small can Tomato Sauce
- 12 Littleneck Clams or 12 Manila Clams
- 8 Shrimp peeled, deveined and tails removed
- 4 Sea Scallops quartered
- 12 Black Mussels
- 5 ounces Calamari cut into rings
- Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh Parsley chopped
Instructions
- Prepare pasta according to package directions. Drain. Set aside in a large bowl.
- Pour oil into a medium skillet. Place over medium heat.
- When oil is hot and shimmering, add garlic. Cook until brown.
- Add red pepper, to taste.
- Add white wine and clams. Cover pan. Keep cover on for five minutes and raise heat to medium high.
- Take off cover from pan and let simmer for a minute more.
- Add tomato sauce and season, to taste, with salt and pepper.
- Add all remaining seafood, stir, and keep cooking until clams and mussels open.
- Add parsley. Mix.
- Pour over linguine and serve hot.
