Ingredients

  • 10 ounces Linguine
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic peeled and chopped
  • Red Pepper Powder to taste
  • 1/2 cup Dry White Wine
  • 1/3 cup homemade Tomato Sauce or 1 small can Tomato Sauce
  • 12 Littleneck Clams or 12 Manila Clams
  • 8 Shrimp peeled, deveined and tails removed
  • 4 Sea Scallops quartered
  • 12 Black Mussels
  • 5 ounces Calamari cut into rings
  • Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh Parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Prepare pasta according to package directions. Drain. Set aside in a large bowl.
  • Pour oil into a medium skillet. Place over medium heat.
  • When oil is hot and shimmering, add garlic. Cook until brown.
  • Add red pepper, to taste.
  • Add white wine and clams. Cover pan. Keep cover on for five minutes and raise heat to medium high.
  • Take off cover from pan and let simmer for a minute more.
  • Add tomato sauce and season, to taste, with salt and pepper.
  • Add all remaining seafood, stir, and keep cooking until clams and mussels open.
  • Add parsley. Mix.
  • Pour over linguine and serve hot.
