Wagamama Yasai Pad Thai Recipe
Ingredients
- 5 1/2 ounces Rice Noodles
- Splash Vegetable Oil
- 1/2 Leek finely sliced
- 1/2 Red Onion finely sliced
- Handful Beansprouts
- Ginger grated, to taste
- 1 clove Garlic grated
- 2 ounces fried Tofu
- 1 Egg gently whisked
- Amai Sauce store-bought or homemade
- 1 fresh Red Chile sliced, to garnish
- 1 tablespoon crushed Peanuts to garnish
- 1 sprig Mint thinly sliced, to garnish
- 1 sprig Cilantro to garnish
- 1 pinch Dried Chili Flakes to garnish
- 1/4 wedge of a Lime to garnish
Instructions
- Cook rice noodles according to packet instructions. Drain.
- Place a large frying pan over medium heat.
- Add vegetable oil.
- When oil is hot and shimmering, carefully place leek, onion, beansprouts, ginger, garlic and tofu into frying pan. Toss and cook until fragrant.
- Add whisked egg and drained cooked noodles. Toss ingredients well to cook quickly.
- Add amai sauce, to taste. Cook until warmed through.
- Place on a plate.
- Garnish with red chile, peanuts, mint, cilantro, chili flakes and lime.
- Serve hot.
