- Note 1 – This is a great cocktail for parties. You can make batches ahead of time and simply shake, pour and serve as needed.
Maggiano's Little Italy The Sicilian Cocktail Recipe
Make this Straight-From-the-Restaurant Maggiano's Little Italy The Sicilian Cocktail Recipe at home. This Signature Restaurant Cocktail is an elegant but refreshing Margarita twist - a combination of Tequila, Aperol and Blood Orange Juice.
Yield: 1 Cocktail
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 ounces Herradura Silver Tequila or other 100% Agave Tequila of choice
- 1/2 ounce Aperol
- 1/2 ounce freshly squeezed Blood Orange Juice
- 1/2 ounce freshly squeezed Lime Juice
- 1 ounce Simple syrup
- 2 dashes Fee Brothers Rhubarb Bitters
- 1 Blood Orange Slice to garnish
Instructions
- To an ice-filled shaker, add all the ingredients, except blood orange slice. Shake until well-chilled.
- Strain into a Coupe, Martini, Rocks, Nick & Nora or other glass.
- Float the blood orange slice on top, to garnish.
- Serve.
