Cheesecake Factory Cole Slaw Recipe
Ingredients
Slaw Mix
- 1 small Green Cabbage finely shredded
- 1 small Red Cabbage finely shredded
- 1 large Carrot julienned or grated
Dressing
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 tablespoon fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Honey
- 1 teaspoon Celery Seed
- 1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper or to taste
For Serving
- Chopped Fresh Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded green cabbage, red cabbage and julienned carrots. Toss well to distribute evenly. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, add mayonnaise, buttermilk, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, Dijon mustard and honey. Whisk until smooth.
- Stir in celery seed, salt and black pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Pour prepared dressing over cabbage mixture. Toss thoroughly to coat all the vegetables in the dressing.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld and the slaw to soften slightly.
- Stir slaw once more before serving.
- Garnish with fresh parsley.
- Enjoy alongside barbecue, fried seafood, sandwiches or your favorite Cheesecake Factory-inspired dishes.
