Help…. please suggest something I can replace basil with. I am highly allergic to fresh, dried or frozen basil! The penne dish sounds wonderful but that is a lot of basil to leave out and I think it would be missing something. I have not ate this but have ate other AppleBee’s dishes.
Thank you,
Nan

Nan,
Personally none of us are allergic to anything except:
Mark – Penicillin
Alton – Work
So, unfortunately we don’t have a first-hand knowledge of food allergies.
However, most experts recommend replacing basil with oregano or thyme. Celery leaf, cilantro and mint are also good choices that will work in some foods.
I hope this helps.
