Noodles & Company Chinese Chopped Salad Recipe
Ingredients
Dressing
- 1/4 cup Rice Vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Sesame Oil
- 1 tablespoon Honey or Brown Sugar
- 1 teaspoon grated Ginger
- 1 teaspoon minced Garlic
- 1 teaspoon Sriracha
- 1/4 cup Vegetable or Canola Oil
- Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
Salad
- 4 cups Napa cabbage thinly sliced
- 2 cups Romaine Lettuce chopped
- 1 cup Red Cabbage thinly sliced
- 1 cup Carrots julienned or shredded
- 1/2 cup Green Onions finely chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh Cilantro chopped
- 1/2 cup Wonton Strips store bought or homemade, of choice
- 1/4 cup toasted sliced Almonds
- 1/2 cup grilled Chicken sliced
Instructions
Dressing
- In a small bowl, add rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, ginger, garlic and Sriracha. Whisk until fully combined.
- Slowly add vegetable oil while whisking until emulsified.
- Taste. Add salt and pepper, to taste.
- Set aside.
Salad
- In a large bowl, combine Napa cabbage, romaine lettuce, red cabbage, carrots, green onions and cilantro. Toss to mix evenly.
- Drizzle prepared dressing over salad. Toss gently to coat.
- Top with wonton strips, sliced almonds, and grilled chicken.
- Dish out to individual plates or bowls. Enjoy immediately.
