Ingredients

Dressing

  • 1/4 cup Rice Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Honey or Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon grated Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon minced Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable or Canola Oil
  • Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper to taste

Salad

  • 4 cups Napa cabbage thinly sliced
  • 2 cups Romaine Lettuce chopped
  • 1 cup Red Cabbage thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Carrots julienned or shredded
  • 1/2 cup Green Onions finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh Cilantro chopped
  • 1/2 cup Wonton Strips store bought or homemade, of choice
  • 1/4 cup toasted sliced Almonds
  • 1/2 cup grilled Chicken sliced

Instructions

Dressing

  • In a small bowl, add rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, ginger, garlic and Sriracha. Whisk until fully combined.
  • Slowly add vegetable oil while whisking until emulsified.
  • Taste. Add salt and pepper, to taste.
  • Set aside.

Salad

  • In a large bowl, combine Napa cabbage, romaine lettuce, red cabbage, carrots, green onions and cilantro. Toss to mix evenly.
  • Drizzle prepared dressing over salad. Toss gently to coat.
  • Top with wonton strips, sliced almonds, and grilled chicken.
  • Dish out to individual plates or bowls. Enjoy immediately.
