Our delicate Angel Hair Pasta tossed with Olive Oil, Garlic, Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Fire-Roasted Red Peppers, fresh Basil, Feta Cheese, Pine Nuts, Roma Tomatoes and topped with fresh Parmesan Cheese and Parsley. Served with Garlic Bread. Add grilled or blackened Chicken for $3.00 or Cajun Shrimp for $4.50.

BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse Angel Hair Toscana
Ingredients
- 2/3 pound Angel Hair Pasta
- 4 1/2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1/4 cup minced Garlic
- 3 teaspoons dried Parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 Red Bell Pepper, roasted (See Method in Box Below) and chopped, or jarred Roasted Red Peppers
- 2 Roma Tomatoes chopped
- 1/2 cup Sun-Dried Tomatoes chopped
- 10 - 12 Fresh Basil Leaves chopped
- 1 cooked boneless Chicken Breast or Thigh cut into strips
- Freshly grated Parmesan Cheese as needed, to taste
Instructions
- Prepare pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup of the cooking water, drain the rest. Set aside.
- In a medium skillet add olive oil, minced garlic, dried parsley and 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt. Place over low heat. Stirring constantly, cook until it starts to sizzle a bit, and garlic foams and is sticky, about 10 to 12 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted red bell pepper and basil.
- Mix reserved 1/2 cup pasta cooking water with pasta.
- Pour the olive oil mixture over the pasta. Toss to combine.
- Add warmed chicken meat and grated Parmesan.
- Serve hot.

How to Roast Bell Peppers
- Turn on the broiler to preheat.
- Place bell pepper on an oven rack.
- Turn almost every 2 minutes with tongs until charred on each side.
- When the skin is blackened and the skin is soft, transfer to a bowl and tightly cover with plastic wrap or foil. Leave for 10 to 15 minutes, or until cool enough to handle.
- Rub or peel charred skin off.
- Cut or tear pepper open to remove seeds and stem.
- Can be kept in an air tight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
