LongHorn Steakhouse Prairie Fries Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 Idaho Potatoes baked ahead and cooled
- Vegetable Cooking Spray
- 2 teaspoons Salt to taste
- 2 teaspoons freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- LongHorn Steakhouse Horseradish Ranch Dipping Sauce (Recipe Below)
Instructions
- Pre-heat grill to 500 - 550°F.
- Cut cooled potatoes into 4 - 6 pieces lengthwise, depending on potato size and preference.
- Lay wedges out on a baking sheet skin side down.
- Spray wedges with cooking spray, giving them a light coating.
- Mix salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder together. Sprinkle this seasoning lightly over the potatoes.
- Season hot grates with a lightly oiled towel.
- Place the potato wedges across the grates, spacing them out so it’s easy to flip them around as they cook.
- Turn the wedges every couple of minutes until they start to turn golden brown and crispy, approximately 5 - 7 minutes total.
- Remove from the grill. Re-season if needed.
- Serve immediately with LongHorn Steakhouse Horseradish Ranch Dipping Sauce.

LongHorn Steakhouse Horseradish Ranch Dipping Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 1/8 cup raw Horseradish
- 1/2 tablespoon Ranch Seasoning
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Mix well.
- Store in a tightly sealed container, in the refrigerator, until ready to serve.
- Serve cold.
