Bahama Breeze Conch Fritters Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 quart Oil for frying
- 2 Eggs slightly beaten
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/2 Onion chopped
- 1/2 Red Bell Pepper chopped
- 2 cups chopped Conch Meat
- 1 tablespoon fresh Thyme chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh Parsley chopped
- 2 cups Bread Crumbs
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon Double-Acting Baking Powder
- Lime Wedges for serving

Instructions
- In a large pot or deep fryer, heat oil to 365°F.
- Add eggs, milk, onion, bell pepper, conch meat thyme and parley to a large mixing bowl. Mix well.
- In another mixing bowl, add bread crumbs, flour, salt and pepper and baking powder. Mix well.
- Pour bread crumb mixture into conch mixture. Mix very well to a nice stiff batter.
- Using a tablespoon or scoop, drop a few dollops of batter into hot oil. Do not crowd.
- Fry until golden brown, about 90 seconds.
- Remove from oil with a spider-strainer, slotted spoon or tongs. Place on a paper towel-covered plate to drain.
- Repeat until all batter is used.
- Serve with lime wedges, Bahama Breeze Spicy Conch Dipping Sauce and Bahama Breeze Citrus Mustard Dipping Sauce.

Bahama Breeze Spicy Conch Dipping Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Ketchup
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed Lime Juice
- 1 tablespoon Mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Hot Sauce of choice
- Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix ketchup, lime juice, mayonnaise, hot sauce, salt and pepper.
- Serve dipping sauce on the side with the fritters.
