Marinade
- 8 cloves Garlic crushed
- 2 tablespoons Cilantro minced
- 1 teaspoon White Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Granulated Sugar
Shrimp and Serving
- 1 pound Shrimp peeled and de-veined
- 3 tablespoons Oil
- 1 Tomato sliced into wedges
- 1 Cucumber thinly sliced
Combine crushed garlic, minced cilantro, white pepper, salt, and sugar in a large bowl. Mix well.
Add shrimp. Toss to coat evenly. Set aside and allow to marinate for 10 minutes.
Heat oil in a large sauté pan or wok over medium-high heat.
Remove shrimp from marinade, allowing excess to dip off, and add to hot oil.
Sauté shrimp for 4 - 6 minutes, or until pink and fully cooked.
Arrange cooked shrimp with fresh tomato wedges and cucumber slices.
Serve hot with steamed jasmine rice or chilled Thai-style salad.
