Bonefish Grill Spaghetti Squash with Honey Ginger Glaze Recipe

- 1 large Spaghetti Squash
- 2 tablespoons Salted Butter
For the Honey Ginger Glaze
- 2 tablespoons freshly grated Ginger
- 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- 1 tablespoon Chicken Base See Note below
- 1 cup Honey
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 cup Water
- 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Cut squash in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
Place cut side down in a large baking pan.
Bake until skin is tender and strands can be loosened easily with a fork.
Remove from oven and set aside briefly.
In a sauté pan, cook ginger with butter until tender.
Add chicken base, honey, and brown sugar.
Stir together water and cornstarch.
Add to ginger mixture and simmer until slightly thickened.
Scrape squash into strands and place in a shallow dish.
Top with salted butter.
Spoon desired amount of glaze over the squash.
Serve warm.
NOTE
Chicken base is concentrated paste that can typically be found in many larger supermarkets and gourmet stores.
