Ingredients

  • 3 medium Russet or Yukon Gold Potatoes scrubed and sliced medium to thin, leaving peeling on (A mandolin does the best job)
  • 1 - 2 tablespoons Canola Oil as needed
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Onion Powder
  • Dash Seasoned Salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450°F.
  • Pour oil into a small bowl.
  • Add garlic powder. Mix well.
  • Brush two heavy baking sheets with about 1/2 tablespoons of oil each.
  • Place in preheated oven to heat for about 10 minutes.
  • Remove baking sheets from the oven.
  • Arrange potato slices on sheets in a single layer.
  • Place back in oven and bake until potatoes are golden on the bottom side, about 20 minutes.
  • Turn potatoes over and bake until they are golden brown all over, about 15 - 20 minutes more.
  • Transfer to paper towels to cool.
  • Repeat with the remaining potatoes.
  • Sprinkle with salt, onion powder and seasoned salt.
  • Serve with Ranch Dressing and/or Zax Sauce, to dip.
