Taco Bell Waffle Taco Recipe

There has been quite a buzz rolling around about the new Waffle Taco from Taco Bell.

Some people have refused to believe it exists.

But as you can tell from the photo above, taken by our buddy, Brent in the Tennessee test market, it really does.

In early 2012, Taco Bell announced they would be launching a new line of breakfast menu items.

They have tested many new items including the Waffle Taco which was tested in five Southern California restaurants where it was the top selling item during breakfast hour.

Then on August 6, 2013, Taco Bell announced it was expanding its test market of waffle tacos to about 100 restaurants in Fresno, California, Omaha, Nebraska and Chattanooga, Tennessee, starting August 8 and they announced that they would be offering more options to include a waffle filled with whipped cream and fruit and a waffle with a piece of fried chicken in it.

They plan to take their breakfast menu national sometime in 2014.

But you can try your own at home right NOW!
