Ingredients

Patties

  • 1 pound 80/20 blend Ground Beef or Chuck
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder

Toppings

  • 4 slices thick-cut Bacon cooked until crispy
  • 1/2 cup crumbled Bleu Cheese
  • 4 Brioche or Sesame Seed Buns toasted
  • 4 slices Red Onion
  • 4 leaves Green Leaf Lettuce

Steakhouse Aioli

  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tablespoon prepared Horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Smoked Paprika

Instructions

Steakhouse Aioli

  • In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, horseradish, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and smoked paprika. Mix well.
  • Cover and refrigerate until ready to use (Can be done in advance). Bring up to room temperature before using.

Patties

  • Place ground beef, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder in a large bowl. Mix well with a wooden spoon or your hands.
  • Divide mixture into four equal portions.
  • Shape portion into 4 patties, slightly larger than the buns.
  • Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook patties for about 3 - 4 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  • Just before removing from heat, sprinkle crumbled bleu cheese on each patty to melt slightly.
  • Lightly toast the buns on the grill or in a dry skillet until golden.

Assemble Burgers

  • Spread a generous layer of prepared steakhouse aioli on the bottom 1/2 of each toasted bun.
  • Add a leaf of lettuce.
  • Place a cooked patty with melted bleu cheese over lettuce.
  • Top with a slice of red onion and two slices of crispy bacon.
  • Top with the other half of the bun.
  • Serve immediately with fries or onion rings for a complete steakhouse experience at home.
