Yield: 1 Bottle
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup Sour Cream
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed Lemon juice or White Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 2 teaspoons Onion Powder
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 16 ounces crumbled Blue Cheese
- Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
Add mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice or vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder and sugar to a large mixing bowl. Whisk to mix well.
Add in 1/2 of blue cheese. Whisk furiously to break up the blue cheese and incorporate it fully into the dressing (Alternately, use an electric mixer to do this step quicker.)
Add in remaining blue cheese. Whisk lightly enough to mix whole crumbles into dressing, but to keep them from breaking up.
Taste. Add salt and pepper, to taste.
Store in a tightly sealed container, in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours (4 or overnight, is even better) to chill and allow the flavors to meld, or until ready to serve.
