- 12 Eggs beaten
- 24 ounces Half and Half
- 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 teaspoon or more Vanilla Extract to taste
- 3 quarts stale Bread cut into large cubes
- Old Glory BBQ Butterscotch Topping (See the Recipe Box below for this Recipe)
Prepare Old Glory BBQ Butterscotch Topping according to the recipe in the Recipe Box below. Set aside.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Place beaten eggs, half and half, brown sugar and vanilla extract in a medium bowl. Mix well.
Place bread cubes in a large mixing bowl.
Pour egg mixture over bread cubes. Hand toss, mixing well.
Transfer mixture to cake or baking dish.
Place in preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes or until the top is lightly browned.
Pour prepared Old Glory BBQ Butterscotch Topping over cake. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving. Or refrigerate after cooking until ready to serve.
