Shaved Prime Rib
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 pound thinly sliced Prime Rib preferably from a deli or butcher
- Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
Sandwich
- 4 Hoagie Rolls split and toasted
- 4 slices Provolone Cheese
- 1/2 cup sautéed Onions
- 1/2 cup sautéed Mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
- Fresh Parsley chopped, to garnish
Shaved Prime Rib
Pour oil into a medium skillet. Place over medium heat.
When oil is hot and shimmering, add thinly sliced prime rib to the skillet.
Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and Worcestershire sauce.
Cook until meat is warmed through and lightly browned, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from skillet to a plate or cutting board.
Assemble the Sandwich
Place bottoms of hoagie rolls on a work surface.
Place a slice of provolone cheese on each toasted hoagie roll.
Spoon warmed prime rib onto rolls, making sure to distribute evenly.
Add warm sautéed onions and mushrooms on top of the meat.
Spread a mixture of mayonnaise and Dijon mustard on the inside of top half of each roll.
