- 1 pound Ground Beef or Ground Chuck
- 1 pound Hot Sausage
- 1 small Onion chopped
- 1 large Carrot grated
- 3 Eggs
- 1 package Saltine-Style Crackers (40 crackers) crushed
- 1 ⁄4 cup Ketchup
- 1 ⁄4 cup Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 ⁄2 cup Ketchup
- 1 ⁄2 cup Mustard
- 1 ⁄3 cup Brown Sugar packed
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Place ground beef or chuck and sausage in a large mixing bowl. Break apart.
Add onion, carrot, eggs, crackers, 1⁄4 cup ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Mix together with your hands until combined. Do not over mix.
Shape into 2 small loaves or 1 big one.
Place loaf or loaves on a sprayed (foil-covered, if you like) cooking sheet or sprayed casserole dish.
In a small bowl add 1⁄2 cup ketchup, mustard and brown sugar. Mix well.
Pour or brush mixture on top of loaf or loaves
Place in preheated oven. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Remove from oven. Cut into slices and serve hot.
