- 2 1/2 pounds Chicken Wings cut into "Drummettes" and "Planks" (leave "tips" connected to planks or cut off and discard), cooked completely in any manner you choose - grilled, baked, fried, deep fried, air-fried, etc. (This can be done in advance. Store in a tightly sealed container, in the refrigerator, until ready to use. Bring up to room temperature before using.)
- 12 ounces Louisiana Hot Sauce
- 6 tablespoons Butter or Margarine
- 1 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
- 3 tablespoons White Vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 1/2 tablespoon Flour
Preheat oven to 300°F.
Add hot sauce, butter or margarine, cayenne pepper, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder to a sauce pan.
Place over medium heat. Cook until butter has melted and sauce is simmering.
Add flour and stir constantly to thicken.
When sauce has thickened, remove from heat.
Pour enough sauce into the base of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish to cover. Spread evenly.
Add wings to remaining sauce. Toss to cover wings completely with sauce.
Place wings in a baking dish. Arrange to a single layer or close to (just do not leave them in a "pile")
Place dish in preheated oven and heat for 20 minutes or until wings becomes hot.
Serve with the blue-cheese dressing or other dressings or dips and celery sticks.
