Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Smoked Mullet flaked and deboned
  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Sour Cream
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Prepared Horseradish
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon Hot Sauce such as Crystal or Tabasco, preferred
  • Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Saltine Crackers or Crostini for serving

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, horseradish, Old Bay, paprika and hot sauce. Mix well.
  • Gently fold in flaked smoked mullet and parsley.
  • Taste. Add salt and pepper, to taste.
  • Cover and chill for at least 1 hour to blend flavors.
  • Serve cold with saltines, crostini and/or raw vegetables.
