Ingredients

  • 6 slices White or Whole Wheat Bread
  • 4 ounces Roasted Turkey or Chicken thinly sliced
  • 4 slices Bacon cooked crispy
  • 2 large Tomatoes sliced
  • 4 leaves Romaine Lettuce
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Toast the bread slices to a golden brown in a toaster or on a griddle.
  • Spread mayonnaise generously on one side of each slice of toasted bread.
  • Layer 2 slices of bread with about 1/4 each of the turkey or chicken, followed by a layer of 1/4 each of crispy bacon, tomato slices and a leaf of lettuce.
  • Place a second slice of bread on top of each and repeat the layering process with remaining ingredients.
  • Top each with the third slices of bread.
  • Place toothpicks to hold the layers together.
  • Slice the sandwiches diagonally into quarters.
  • Serve immediately with a side of fries, potato chips and/or a pickle.
