- 6 slices White or Whole Wheat Bread
- 4 ounces Roasted Turkey or Chicken thinly sliced
- 4 slices Bacon cooked crispy
- 2 large Tomatoes sliced
- 4 leaves Romaine Lettuce
- 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
- Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
Toast the bread slices to a golden brown in a toaster or on a griddle.
Spread mayonnaise generously on one side of each slice of toasted bread.
Layer 2 slices of bread with about 1/4 each of the turkey or chicken, followed by a layer of 1/4 each of crispy bacon, tomato slices and a leaf of lettuce.
Place a second slice of bread on top of each and repeat the layering process with remaining ingredients.
Top each with the third slices of bread.
Place toothpicks to hold the layers together.
Slice the sandwiches diagonally into quarters.
Serve immediately with a side of fries, potato chips and/or a pickle.
