- 2 ounces Vodka
- 1 ounce Sour Apple Schnapps such as DeKuyper Sour Apple Pucker
- 1/2 ounce Triple Sec or Cointreau for a smoother flavor
- 1/2 ounce freshly squeezed Lime Juice
- 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup adjusted to taste
- Thin Apple Slice to garnish
- Maraschino Cherry to garnish
- 1 Lime Wedge for rimming glass
- Sugar for rimming glass
Pour a layer of sugar out onto a small saucer.
Run 1 lime wedge around the rim of a margarita or other glass, of choice. Discard wedge.
Place glass rim-down onto the sugar. Push down lightly and roll glass to fully rim with sugar. Set aside.
To an ice-filled shaker, add vodka, schnapps, triple sec or Cointreau, lime juice and simple syrup. Shake until well-chilled.
Strain into a Martini, Coupe, Rocks, Nick & Nora or other glass.
Garnish with apple slice and cherry.
Serve.
