Ingredients

  • TGI Fridays Easy Chow Chow (See "Spotlight Recipes" below for a Link to this Recipe)
  • TGI Fridays Cajun Onion Strings (See the Recipe Box below for this Recipe)
  • Four 1/4 pound premade Hamburger Patties, or 1 pound Ground Beef or Chuck, formed into four 1/4 pound Hamburger Patties
  • 4 large Hamburger Buns
  • 4 or 8 slices New York Sharp Cheddar Cheese, or other Sharp Cheddar Cheese of choice.
  • 8 slices thick cut Smoked Bacon cooked crisp
  • 1 bottle Steak Sauce, of choice, or 1 recipe homemade Steak Sauce, of choice (See "Spotlight Recipes" below for a Link to Our A1 Steak Sauce Copycat Recipe)
  • Other typical Hamburger Topping - Tomatoes, Pickles, Onions, Lettuce, etc. - of choice prepared as needed, optional, as desired

Instructions

  • Prepare TGI Fridays Easy Chow Chow according to the recipe in the Recipe Box below. Set aside. (This can be done in advance. Store in a tightly sealed container, in the refrigerator, until ready to use. Allow to come to close to room temperature before using.)
  • Prepare TGI Fridays Cajun Onion Strings according to the recipe linked to in "Spotlight Recipes" below. Set aside and keep warm.
  • Grill hamburger patties (or cook in other method, of choice) to desired doneness.
  • After flipping, in the last 3 - 5 minutes of grilling, place 1 or 2 slices Cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
  • Remove done patties from grill and place on a plate. Set aside briefly.
  • Toast buns.
  • Place all 4 bottom buns on a large platter or work surface.
  • Place one cheeseburger patty on each bun.
  • Place 2 slices of bacon on each burger in a cross pattern.
  • Top with 1 - 2 tablespoons TGI Fridays Easy Chow Chow.
  • Mound a small handful TGI Fridays Cajun Onion Strings atop chow chow.
  • Douse with a couple dashes steak sauce.
  • Dress with extra burger toppings, of choice, if desired. (Or serve burgers with extra topping on the side.)
  • Place top bun on burgers and serve.
