Ingredients

  • 10 ounces Angel Hair Pasta
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 medium Onion peeled and chopped fine
  • 3 cloves Garlic peeled and crushed
  • 1 1/2 pounds medium-sized Fresh Shrimp peeled, deveined and tails removed
  • 4 ounces Butter
  • 1/2 cup White Wine
  • 1/3 teaspoon Crushed Red Peppers
  • Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Parmesan Cheese grated, to serve
  • Finely chopped Parsley to garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare pasta according to package directions. Drain. Set aside.
  • Place oil in a sauté pan. Place over medium heat.
  • When oil is hot and shimmering, add onion. Sauté 2 minutes.
  • Add garlic. Sauté 1 minute.
  • Add prepared shrimp. Cook 1 - 2 minutes. Do not overcook.
  • Add butter, wine, red pepper, salt and pepper, to taste.
  • Place prepared pasta on serving plates.
  • Spoon shrimp over it. Drizzle pan sauce over top.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, to taste and parley.
  • Serve hot.
