Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 3 cups thin Dill Pickle Slices drained
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  • In a shallow bowl, add flour, salt and pepper. Whisk to combine.
  • In another bowl, add eggs and milk. Beat until fully combined.
  • Blot pickle slices with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  • Drop pickle slices, a few at a time into the bowl with the flour mixture. Turn to coat pickles fully.
  • Remove from flour and dip in egg mixture, turning to coat fully.
  • Return slices to the flour mixture, again turning to coat fully.
  • In an electric skillet or deep fryer, heat oil to 375°F.
  • Add freshly floured pickle slices to the hot oil, about 10 at a time (do not crowd) and fry for 3 minutes or until golden brown, turning once.
  • Remove to a paper towel-covered plate to drain.
  • Serve warm with ranch dressing and/or other Dipping Sauces (See Box below for Links to Some Good Ones!)
